TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read through all information thoroughly! Using and purchasing through this website binds you to the following (where Julia Zaremba is the artist and you are the buyer):

SHIPPING:
I am curretly based in Norway and shipping is exensive. I am offering the cheapest that I can (usually not even covering packaging materials which are also pretty pricey here). As an individual business, I do not have shipping discounts. I am working on optimizing solutions and methods every day.

All artwork shipping is specified on each item page. As a rule, all paintings on paper are shipped flat in hard envelope, with protective wrapping and eventual insulation included. Artwork on canvas larger than 50x50cm are shipped rolled in a tube and it is the buyer’s responsibility/cost to reframe artwork at location. Artwork on canvases smaller than 50x50cm are shipped on canvas frame, following all safety packaging procedures.

All artwork purchased directly on this page is shipped through the Norwegian Postal Service (Posten Norge).  Artwork is shipped as soon as possible (within 7 days, unless significant health issues, announced travels, holidays, pandemic regulations, or packaging shortages beyond the artist’s power get in the way).

For domestic orders (within Norway), products usually arrive within 5 business days.

International orders generally take up to three weeks for delivery. Shipping fees in Europe average 100kr-500kr and shipping fees in the rest of the world tend to start at 150kr. Specific shipping rates will be shown at check-out.

Please note that due to the current pandeic, shipping times are significantly longer than normal (especially to the United States). Please be patient and get in touch if you are loosing faith.

TRACKING/INSURANCE:
All canvases shipped in poster tubes are automatically tracked. For all other items, you may chose if you want to track/insure your order. I am not responsible for any lost orders bought without tracking. But I will let you take the risk if you wish : )

All photographs on this website are copyright of Julia Zaremba or used with permission.

Copyrights remain with the artist. This means, any artwork that you buy is only for personal use and may not be replicated or used for commercial/promotional purposes. This includes commissions, unless otherwise specified.

PAYMENTS:
All payments are made through Stripe, a third party payment processor. Processing payments through Stripe is subject to third parties’ Privacy and Terms. You agree to pay the artist through Stripe the full amount as charged.

IMPORT CHARGES:
Please research customs/tax/import fees in your country before making any purchases. I accurately state the product and cost in all customs delcarations of products leaving Norway. Any additional fees incured upon delivery are not my responsibilty and I do not offer refunds on these.

COLOR ACCURACY:
The artist tries her best to depict accurate artwork colors in all photographs. However, slight color alterations may occur due to lighting conditions and between screens, tablets, phones, etc. The artist is not resposnible for these alterations. The same rule applies for art prints: art prints may have slight color differences from the original artwork, despite the artist’s and printer’s best efforts.

DAMAGES:
Unless otherwise specified, all artwork leaves the artist’s hands in good condition. Should damage occur while shipping, please contact me as soon as possible with any proof available (photos, receipt, invoice, etc.) of artwork, packaging, and damage.

While I process all complaints on a case-by-case basis, I will do my best to partially/fully refund/replace artwork if necessary.

RETURN POLICY:
Returns are treated on a case-by-case basis. All concerns must be voiced within one week (7 days) of receiving artwork. All returns must be shipped within one month (30 days). Artwork must be returned in original condition. Client is in charge of securely packing artwork, all packaging materials, and insurance/shipping costs.

Stripe usage fees will not be refunded.

If sending artwork from abroad (outside of Norway), please check “Return of Goods” on customs forms.

LOST ARTWORK:
While all efforts are made to package, sent, and track orders, sometimes art does get lost. If you believe that this is the case, please contact the artist personally.

Please be aware that due to the global pandemic, all shipping times are significantly impacted, especially with international orders. Be generous with your patience; I am sending all the quick and painfree postal vibes that I can.

I reserve the right to modify all contents of this website, user comments and terms and conditions, when and as I feel appropriate.
