While staying at the Samana Eco Lodge, I indulged in a lot of beachside strolls and hopped out for a day hike to the Salto El Limón waterfall. There are both foot trails and horseback options winding through the muddy terrain, with plenty of pineapple trees and palmchats (DR’sn national bird) along the way. Of course, I ended up taking some super alternative route there and got a lift back on the back of a motorino already carrying way too many things…
Part of the Acrylic Postcards series (IG: @acrylicpostcards), which features paintings based on photos from my travels. The aim of this project is to inspire and showcase some off-the-beaten-track destination gems (and some global stars).

-Paper is roughly 15x15cm wide. The painting is roughy 14.5×14.5cm wide. Couple mm differences between acrylic poastcards may occur.
-Varnished to protect from dust and UV light.
