Barolo Vineyards

Size: 15×15 cm
Acrylic on canvas paper

€75

A mix of green and purple grapes at one of the many vineyards dotting the hills of the Barolo wine region in Piemonte. Just as it historically was a sought-after wine on war lords’ dining tables, Barolo is still one of the most popular Italian wines in Italy and abroad. Also, fun fact: in the 19th-century, a local chemist invented Barolo chinato, a traditional remedy for digestion problems and the common cold. It’s healing powers are still rather disputed today, but it sure makes for a great dessert wine!
