There is no shortage of cute, colorful houses in Athens, but this one sitting at the corner of Koukaki and Plaka is one of my favourite gems. The lazy wall vines, warm layers of fading paint, and cat surprises just ooze with inspiration. I’m always amazed that such a sleepy neighborhood of narrow alleys is just footsteps away from the Acropolis and the hustle-and-bustle of the tourist strip below!

Part of the Acrylic Postcards series (IG: @acrylicpostcards), which features paintings based on photos from my travels. The aim of this project is to inspire and showcase some off-the-beaten-track destination gems (and some global stars).

-Original acrylic painting on canvas-textured paper (300gsm, 140lb, 100% acid free)
-Paper is roughly 15x15cm wide. The painting is roughy 14.5×14.5cm wide. Couple mm differences between acrylic poastcards may occur.
-Varnished to protect from dust and UV light.
-Comes with certificate of authenticity.
-Signed on front.
-Ships flat.
