Penmon Lighthouse (Trwyn Du): Another gem of a lighthouse, off the northeastern tip of Angelsey, guarding the Menai Strait and running on solar power since 1996.
No shortage of rocky shores, rainy mornings, windswept trees, soup and sammie deals for lunch, mystical consonants, and the footsteps of King Arthur along these grassy coastal routes.
