Acrylic on canvas paper

Ittoqqortoormiit, officially one of the most remote settlements in the world, lies at 70.5° N and is quite the unexpected sight after days of drifting at sea. Though sea access is blocked for nine months of the year due to sheet ice (though global warming is challenging this), it nonetheless remains a… er, relatively popular, tourist destination. The town lies at the mouth of the world’s deepest multi-branched fjord system and next to the Iceberg Graveyard… so, definitely worth checkout out if ever in the area.
